The Things A Girl Must Do For Fame

Hi Fans,
Guess what???? Mummy, today entered me into the Baby Bonds Model search here in Sydney oh yes - Bonds do a really cool range of baby/kiddies basic clothes (check them out at www.bonds.com.au) and this year they are looking for new talent, being two little baby ones and one bigger baby. So Mummy, & Daddy, to that matter, thought I'd be perfect for the job. So off we trolled, over to Fox Studios, where we queued for an hour, I then had my one photo taken and then was given a balloon and sticker I was well pleased. We then trolled home and Mummy insisted on taking a photo - oh well anything to keep her quiet. Now just waiting for Daddy to come home so I can tell him all about it.
Cheerio for now....

My Adventures Last Week

Hi,
Wow what a week I had last week - Mummy & I just don't stop - Here's a recap of our week......

Monday - Mummy & I went to Newtown to pick up our tickets for our trip to the UK, I am very excited about this and am allowed to bring 10kg worth of stuff - I have that many clothes no doubt I'll need this allowance, but Mummy assures me we can't pack too much cos the baby shops in the UK are fab and we'll be bringing loads back......with that in mind we then headed we off to Broadway as the new level is open complete with Tarr-ja (Target to those not in the know) and a Kikki-K yipee. But Mummy was taking things back rather than buying so no fun there.

Tuesday - Mother Group day - this was fun and a few achievements to b e had - Ben started crawling - us babies were very impressed but I don't Gab his mum is too thrilled. Bea has got 2 teeth - yes her bottom two and Cecily is sitting up on her own. I haven't achieved any of these 3 things yet, I have no teeth, don't crawl and although I can sit a little I do fall over if I'm not supported - must work on these for next week.

Wednesday - Today was a special person's birthday ****Happy Birthday to you Aunty Mel, hope you had a lovely day****
Whilst Mel was celebrating her birthday Mummy & I went shopping again this time in the city with Cecily and her Mum Kristen and we shopped and had lunch together it was a fun day out.

Thursday - All I can say is thank heavens Mum decided not to go the pictures this week and we decided to stay in and chill out at home.

Friday - oohhh big day today, and another birthday, today it's Happy Birthday to Uncle Chris yipeee - Aunty Mel's Husband for those who don't know.
Mummy & I met Daddy at his work and I got to see his work pals, then we met Beth for lunch as she was flying back to London that night via Hong Kong. So when Daddy had to go back to work, Mummy and Beth were very naughty and treated themselves to a fabulous dessert.
Then it was a mad dash home to get spruced up for Mel's Birthday do at the Mexican in Glebe - we had a fab time, lovely food and great company and it was Chris's Birthday too so afterwards the big people retired back to Mel's for more partying and I was allowed to stay up too.

Saturday - Mummy & I were very tired on Saturday so we had a lazy day and had lunch with Zoe & Alex and Monica too.

Sunday - Mummy & Daddy took me round to Jo's for Sunday lunch they had Roast Pork and Mummy tells me it was fabulous and perfectly done.

All folks that was our week last week.

Love to you all - Ruby xxx

5 Months Old Yesterday

Hello People,
Yesterday I turned 5 months young, and it just so happened I was invited to the event of the Year Trish & Simon's Wedding, they held the ceremony in Yurulbin Park, Birchgrove which overlooked the beautiful Sydney Harbour Bridge and had a stunning view of the Harbour. Mummy & Daddy took me to the ceremony, so I was able to get dressed up - not that a Sydney girl like myself needs any excuse to get dressed up but this did call for a rather posh frock to be worn. My Grandad Johnson sent me my beautiful frock when I was born and I had the pleasure of wearing it to the Wedding. I think I look rather suave and of course everyone else thought so too.....

As it was my birthday and from my brief life experience so far, I did think I would get to celebrate and party on, later at the cocktail reception, but no Mummy & Daddy had other plans for me and took me home, where my wonderful Aunty Mel babysat me till Mummy & Daddy arrived home under the influence again!!!!!. Which I must say was more fun than a cocktail party.

Today we met up with Beth an old time friend of Daddy's who he backpacked with in Thailand & Australia. We met in Bondi and had lunch there and a drink too, being a lovely sunny day it was nice to be at the beach. I must say I was rather taken with Beth and will post a photo of us together shortly. I hope I will be seeing her again soon, although she is only in town for a week (she works for the Hilton Group and they have flown her business class from London to be here for a conference - I was so impressed hmmmm mental note to myself must remember this information for later career decision.) and is very busy working.

See you all soon - love Ruby xxx

Mummy & I

Hi Fans,
What a week I've had, after the exciting long weekend Mummy & I chilled out at Mother's Group on Tuesday afternoon where this picture was taken, Mummy loves it because I am grinning from ear to ear and it shows I am a really happy baby which I am.

Wednesday I had the pleasure of shopping - Mummy dragged me round all the shops in the city looking for a dress for a Wedding we are going to today - guess what she didn't get one.

Thursday we went to the pictures - this is Mummy's favourite time of the week - it's a special Mums & Bubs session so us babies get to make as much noise as we want but I'm generally very good and let Mummy watch the movie. This week we saw The Namesake, it was very good, and some of my baby friends from Mothers Group came along so afterwards Mummy had lunch with Kristen and I played with Cecily.

And folks that was my busy week, we have a wedding today and I get to wear my party dress, I'm only going for the ceremony then I have to come home, Mel is babysitting me tonight so Mummy & Daddy can a drink or two......I'll post the photo's later.....

Have a fun filled weekend - Love Ruby xxx

Tummy Time

Hi All,
Tummy time guys I hate it or did, but Mummy seems to think that putting me on my belly is fun - well it isn't Mummy can't you tell by the look on my face, but Mummy insists everyday to try and get me to spend a couple of minutes on my tummy - yer right. Well that was a few weeks ago but now I love it and I think it is because I can roll over onto my tummy myself without Mummy's help. Plus I've worked out that this is the starting position for crawling (hee hee poor Mummy).
Bye for now xxx

Easter Monday

Hi Again,
More fun on Easter Monday at Zoe's - after breakfast we took a walk in Bowral - well they walked & Daddy pushed me. It is a nice walk into Bowral, it was all lovely and Autumny. We all had a look around the shops but miracles of miracles nothing was purchased except some lovely cakes from a lovely Patisserie and then we all went for a well-deserved coffee before walking home.
It was great staying at Zoe's I got lots of cuddles and attention - Even Sasha the Dog thought I was alright.
And that everyone was our lovely long Easter Weekend.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter and got lots of chocolate eggs & bunnies.
Love to you all xxx

Ps - Look Grandad Johnson - I'm wearing one of the gorgeous outfits you sent me, which kept me lovely and warm in Bowral.

Easter Sunday - Wot No Easter Eggs for Me!!!!

Hi,
Easter Sunday loaded with Easter eggs Mummy & Daddy took me down to Bowral to visit Alex & Zoe - we did have fun, I think I have charmed Zoe & Alex.
It was a touch cold down there so I rugged up and kept warm all weekend long. I got to sleep in my new travel cot too.
We had plenty to eat & drink - although Mummy tells me, pre me, Mummy & Zoe would off polished off several bottles of Red instead of just the one they shared!!!!!.

Easter Long Weekend - Good Friday

Hi Folks,
Happy Easter all, we had a great weekend - Good Friday started off by Mummy taking me out for lunch at Bungalow 8 with Liz, Craig, Amy & Daddy too, what an afternoon we had, the big people had lunch there and drinks too, lots of drinks in fact, Mummy was good though but as for the others well what can I say - they boozed. We were only going for Lunch but we ended up staying out until 8.30pm that's what I call a top day out. I was charming everyone all day long.

More News from the Hunter

Hi,
I forgot to mention after my swim, I saw Kangaroo's for the first time too, hopping passed Peppers - it was wonderful.

Mummy & Daddy stocked up on booze too and have decided if they win the lottery they are buying a Vineyard in the Hunter, although Daddy said Mummy will probably drink all the wine we make oops.........

I think Mummy & I suit the Hunter - we look gorgeous amongst the vines!!!!!!!

Till next time folks

Our Weekend Away

Hi Everyone,
Well as I mentioned it was Mummy & Daddy's 1st Wedding Anniversary this weekend and they decided to go back to the Hunter Valley where they married last year. This time we stayed at Peppers Guest House just metres away from the wedding venue and chapel, it was lovely and very posh.

On Saturday morning Mummy went off for a well deserved massage and then Daddy had one too - lucky devils, the rest of the day was typical Mummy & Daddy spending time wine tasting and eating.

Mummy & Daddy went for a swim in the pool and Mummy took me in - it was my first time in a swimming pool and I loved it, I kicked my legs and everything, Mummy has decided I'm going to be an Olympic swimmer.

In the evening they dined at Chez Pok and had a lovely meal there - it is the restaurant of the Peppers, I even got to sit in a high chair for the 1st time but I didn't like it very much.

I think I am am keen on this lifestyle staying in nice hotels in the Hunter, I even colour co-ordinated my clothes to the bed linen.......

Love to you all xxx
