Meeting My Great Grannie

Hi All,
Boy am I having an exciting time - last Saturday I got to meet my Great Grannie Connie (Gran Gran to me) which is my Daddy's Grannie, and as you can see, I was thoroughly delighted to meet her.
We had a lovely day in Bishopthorpe and we went out to The Roebuck in Appleton Roebuck for a lovely pub lunch with Grannie & Grandad and Gran Gran, I did sleep through most of my first experience in an English pub, but woke up just in time to provide the adults with some entertainment. Mummy tells me the food was delicious - she had home-made steak pie and is looking forward to sampling more pub menus (surprise surprise) and adding to my collection of beer mats....

My First Aeroplane Trip

Hi Fans,
Well the day finally arrived, and last Wednesday, I jetted off to the UK in a big plane, I was so excited that after take off I fell asleep and stayed asleep for most of the 14 hours of the first leg of our exciting journey, Mummy was so pleased as she had been expecting the worst silly Mummy......

Both legs of the journey were uneventful, we did get delayed in Dubai as four passengers didn't turn up and Emirates had to unload their luggage, but this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as otherwise half of my welcoming party wouldn't have been there to meet me, due to a lorry spilling it's load. I'm a lucky girl as I had 7 people to meet me, my Nanna, Uncle Craig, Grannie & Grandad Chaplin, Uncle Gary & Auntie Lisa and Grandad Johnson. Then it was all back to Lisa for a party Lunch, which was wonderful - Thank you Auntie Lisa. Then home it was to York.

We've had a very full week so far and today we're off to Leeds to visit Grannie & Grandad so keep watching this space for more updates about my adventures in the UK and the BBQ we had on Sunday, plus I've met my Great Grandad & Great Nanna Ballace and my Great Grannie Connie, all to come......

PS - Mummy has already been to Sainsburys and M&S - she's so daft.....

1 More Sleep To Go......

Hi Fans,
1 more sleep to go and we'll be setting off from Sydney to Manchester and we are so excited, as it was our last night in Sydney, Mummy decided it would be nice to have a meal out with our nearest and dearest. So the wonderful Freemans that being Chris, Mel (my Godmother to be), Jamie & Ally joined us at The Norton St Grill for a meal, along with Arthur, and it was all you can eat Ribs too, Mummy tells me.....We did have fun it was a great night, Mummy tells me the food was good, the drink was excellent and the company was fantastic......What more can a girl ask for.....

In fact Mummy also had a little boozy lunch too today, as it was our last Mothers Group meeting till September, we had lunch at The 3 Weeds in Rozelle and a few drinkies too, I got to say goodbye to my mini mates and Mummy said goodbye to her Mummy Mates, it was a lovely lunch and Mummy said we will miss everyone.

Mummy tells me we are all packed, we only have a few last minute things to attend to tomorrow but as our flight isn't until 21.10pm we have plenty of time tomorrow. We are very much looking forward to our trip, with Pops help, it should be a breeze, Mummy is very excited about the in-flight entertainment and says she has over 100 movies to watch lucky Mummy.

So to you all in Oz I'll love you and leave you and see you all in 3 months and to you all in England I'll see you very soon - The Rubster is on her way.....(with Mummy and Pops too)

Where's My Mummy.....

Hi,
It's me again - well today my Mummy left me for the first time ever, for a whole day, whilst she went to do a St John's First Aid course specially for Infants & Children, I didn't miss her too much as I was having too much fun with Pops, but Mummy told me she missed me heaps but it was worth it as she learnt lots of things.

On a different note - as now I am eating solids, I'm well into my bibs and this one is my favourite and I can't wait till I'm old enough to actually be able to eat a big ice-cream - Daddy tells me there are delicious......but for now this bib will have to do - thanks Godmother Lesley (I always get cool things from my Godmother-to-be Lesley, she's just too cool.....)

Only 5 sleeps to go till we set off and 6 sleeps till we arrive in the UK - looking forward to it.
