An Adventure in Hull

Hi Fans,
Firstly I have to apologise for my lack of posts recently, Mummy & I have been so busy it's hard to find the time to keep up to date but we will endeavour to get back up to date this week so here goes....

The last week in June my Grandad Johnson came to pick Mummy & I up to take us to stay at his house in Hull, it was all good until it started raining and never stopped for 8 of the 9 days we were there, and yes we got flooded. We had a fantastic BBQ on the Saturday (but silly Mummy forgot to take any photos) lots of people came to see me, I got to see my Uncle Daniel & Aunty Gemma, it was great fun, Grandad got a little too merry and as Mummy tells me went to bed before the party ended - silly Grandad.

The rest of the week saw rain, rain & more rain, Grandad's back garden was flooded, but we did manage to go the The Deep an aquarium in Hull, and go out for the day to Matlock Bath, to go on a cable car to the Heights of Abrahams - it was fun and a great day out. I think Grandad had a lot more planned for us but we were thwarted by the weather - oh well.

And on a final note from our trip to Hull, whilst we were there a beautiful baby girl was born, Aunty Gemma's Cousin Michelle gave birth to Lily Mae, weighing in at 7lb 1oz she is beautiful - Congratulations.

Next to come meeting a few friends and my trip to London, don't go away.....

Mummy's Night Out - Boozing

Hi All,
I just had to post these of Mummy's boozy night out with some of her pals, being Mel, Briony, Rob & Gareth.

Nanna & Pops were on babysitting duty whilst Mummy went out and had herself some fun in York, what Mummy didn't realise was, there are no last orders anymore, and you can carry on drinking past the old drink up time of 11pm - oh dear Mummy thought I've missed that last bus home so lets carry on drinking and so she did, Vodka shots & cocktails in Revolution, my mum is a party animal, but after Revolution it did get worse I heard her tell Nanna the next day and all you Yorkies out there you will understand this I'm told and groan, but the next pub from Revolution was going to be Flares for a boogie, but Mummy, Mel & Rob didn't quite make it that far I heard, in fact they only made it as far as the "Willow" a very cheesy Chinese place with cheesy music and usually a dose of food poisoning to boot- oh dear I hear you groan and it was oh dear.......

I thought I would be nice to Mummy as I did hear her crawl in at 2.30am and I slept in till 9am so she could have a sleep in too, and believe it or not she was very spritely the next day.....

A Few Days in Leeds

Hello,
Shortly after arriving in the UK, Mummy & I took a trip over to Leeds to stay with Grannie and Grandad and whilst I was there I got to meet Daddy's Godmother Kathleen and she bought me a present, which was a guitar and now I'm known as Rock 'n' Roll Ruby and am keen to get a band together.....

Mummy & I had a lovely time in Leeds, the weather wasn't great it rained for 3 days but that didn't stop us. Mummy got to go shopping so she was pleased, particularly as she bought a red coat, Grannie & Grandad bought me a toy which I love and some clothes (I'm a very spoilt girl) and I got to meet a baby friend Lydia, who isn't as little as me, she's 20 months old but is seriously cute and her Mummy Rhian got to chat with my Mummy & Grannie. Grandad disappeared don't blame him he know'swhat women are like!!!!

And I have to mention I also got to meet the famous Michael Leggitt - my Daddy's pal, he did make me cry at first, but I soon got over myself and let him have a cuddle with me.

And Ladies and Gentleman there is a little more - Grannie and Grandad also took Mummy & I to visit the church where we are getting Christened and it is lovely I won't say anymore but we are looking forward to it on the 12th August.

Next to come in my busy schedule is the eventful trip to Hull you're going to love this one

Cheerio for now - Rock 'n' Roll Ruby xxx

Uncle Craig

Hi All,
Uncle Craig - what can I say he's crazy and he loves his Subaru's, (Scooby's as they are referred too I'm told) anyway Uncle Craig took me out in his Scooby without Mummy and I loved it.

Uncle Craig loves doing silly things with me, like aeroplane flying and playing hidey-boo which I love, he has also lent me his Scooby Doo dog to play with and it is bigger than me. Uncle Craig is also very noisy and is teaching me to be noisy too - I can now shout very loud. Daddy you had better watch out I've got a right pair of lungs on me now and it's all Uncle Craig's fault.

Mummy say's if I take after Uncle Craig she's shipping me back to him till I'm 16 - I don't know what she means by that but I'm sure she is only joking (I hope.....)

Still having fun here in York

Love to you all - Ruby xxx

Ps - I have to plug my Uncle Craig's new business "The Car Wash Guys" he's set up his own business with a friend, it's doing well but I thought I'd help him do better and plug it here (ps Uncle Craig I'm not delivering leaflets for you though....) - it's a really good car valeting service see the link on my blog site and check it out.

Meeting My Great Grandparents

Hi Fans,
Sorry for the delay in updating my blog spot, Mummy and I have been in Hull, in the floods, with no internet connection, so I've told Mummy she must get us up to date this week with all my fun and travels we've been having for you all to see.

So here goes.... I am a lucky girl, not only do I have a Great Grannie, I also have a Great Nanna & Great Grandad too, they are my Mummy's Nanna & Grandad and they loved me too. They came down to stay in their Caravan, my first week in York, so I even got to go and have lunch in a Caravan with them - silly Mummy though forgot to take some pictures.

Whilst we were staying in Hull with Grandad Johnson we also managed a trip over to Flamborough to see Great Nanna & Grandad and enjoy another pub meal, early evening, I got baby rice and pumpkin and Mummy had Gammon hmmmm doesn't seem fair does it....but we did have a lovely time.
