Leeds Leeds Leeds

Hi,
I'm back to continue with my adventures..... covering from the 16th July to 22nd July my first big news is that I'm CRAWLING...... yes after a few days commando crawling (back on the 12th July) I finally got my knees up and away I am but I can only go a few crawls before I end up face down, but hey it's a start isn't it I can only get better....

So after a lovely 2 weeks with Nanna, Mummy & I took ourselves over to Leeds to stay with Grannie & Grandad, where we had a few fun filled days, we meet a few lovely ladies at the Luncheon Club on Tuesday, had lunch with Gran Gran on Wednesday in Bishopthorpe at the Woodman, as you can see from the picture - I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch.

Thursday was my favourite day though, Grannie took Mummy & I to Temple Newsham, and we went into the farm to see the pigs, hens and sheep etc, except I didn't like the animals as much as Grannie & Mummy thought I would, so instead we went to play in the playground where I had my first play on a slide, swing and roundabout - this I enjoyed so much better than the sheep and on Friday we had a lazy morning at home, I played with Grannie in the garden and then in the afternoon, Grannie & Grandad took us through to Wilmslow so I could spend the weekend with Uncle Gary & Auntie Lisa - here I had a fab time with them and took my crawling to new lengths as I managed to get from the living room to the dining table to see what Mummy, Gary & Lisa where up too. I like crawling...........

As promised my adventures in London are still to come very shortly I promise.

Two Weeks With Nanna

Hi Fans,
After Mummy & I have been jaunting around the country, we were pleased to finally have 2 weeks at home with Nanna as she was on holiday and we had fun, here's just a selection of the things we got up to...

We went to Great Nanna's & Great Grandads for the day and had a pub lunch out, I took a fancy to the beer mats. Another day, a rainy day at that, we went shopping what girl doesn't like a bit of retail therapy. Then there was Haxby Carnival, which involved a parade through the village and a fair/fete at the playground, this was fun as Mummy won on the tombola. We did a car boot too, where Mummy & Nanna made so money selling their old junk and I was lucky enough to profit from this as they opened me a little bank account with their takings, in fact Mummy nearly profited twice at the car boot as she was asked twice if I was for sale.....

Nanna kindly took Mummy & I to Auntie Lesley's, as her Mum was holding a Coffee Morning for Charity, so we took great delight in spending our money to help a worthy cause, and I made a new friend too, Lesley's Niece Amy was great she looked after me and played with me whilst Mummy was busy chatting again.....

Then on Nanna's last day before it was back to work, we all went to Thornton Dale and Dalby Forest for the day, and with true Johnson, my Mummy tells me, we got lost and came back to York via Scarborough, and with true Johnson style we laughed about it.

Still to come my excellent week in London.

A Few Friends Along The Way

Hello,
I was very excited as the day after we left Hull, I got to meet my little mate Toby, who is my Mummy's Best Friend's little boy and they'd come all the way up from Brighton - he is exactly 3 weeks younger than me so I was able to boss him around. I was also delighted to meet Toby's big sister the beautiful Isobel she was lovely. Mummy & Emma were delighted by our company and at one point suggested swapping babies but only for cuddles (phew!!!!).

Another one of Mummy's really good friends is Mel and she has a little girl too called Jessica, Jessica is older than me, she's 4 years old and has lots of cool toys, which she shared with me, so I had a fab time at her house playing. I thought Jessica was lovely, Mummy & Mel did talk a lot though, but I guess that what happens when you don't see someone for nearly 3 years.

More friends and tales of travel to come.....

See you soon - Love Ruby xxx
