One for the Weekend

Hi,
Mummy thought she'd just share this lovely photo of me.

Mummy & Daddy are taking me to the Hunter Valley this weekend to celebrate their 1st Wedding Anniversary, I overheard them say they are going to do lots of wine tasting, have massages, eat lots and have fun, so I thought I'd be extra good for them too. I will take lots of photo's of the daft pair and will report in next week with the details.

Love to you all xxx

Mummy Showing Off

Hi All,
My Mummy has been busy look what she has made for me. The first one is a picture of a real "taggie", the triangle one, next to the one my Mummy made me and I think my Mummy's is the best.

And the best one is the soft rabbit toy Mummy made me from a pattern she got off the internet - isn't she clever it's called a Mini-Moopy Bunny and Mummy chose the fabric and everything....

....but we need a name, so everyone, I thought I'd organise a naming contest for my Mini-Moopy - all entries to be in by Easter. I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions and Mummy & I will pick the best one - weird, wacky or silly get your entries in now.

Have a nice weekend

Happy Birthday Mummy

Hi Fans,
Today is my Mummy's Birthday and she got lots of nice pressies and I took her out for lunch or rather she took me as I was the one in the pram being pushed there, anyway we went to Sydney Fish Markets for fish & chips, as it is a nice walk there and back.

Before I went to bed Mummy said she's had a such a lovely day and is going to finish off the wine whilst finishing off the soft toy she is hand making me from scratch (using the sewing machine and everything) - yes you heard right. I will post a picture of the toy once finished for your viewing and maybe we could have a naming contest. And talking of handmade toys you may also notice on the photo of me in my pram I'm showing off a rather fine "Taggie" hand made by my Mummy for me and I love it - it's my favourite toy so get your orders in........
Love to you all xxxx

The Weekend

Hi All,
Had a pretty eventful weekend, after having fun with Daddy, I insisted Mummy & Daddy take me into the City for a bit of retail therapy - yes a girl can never start too young!!!! but all I got was a Miffy book.

I then got the pleasure of seeing & talking to my Great-Grannie on Skype a video calling thingy - we got to say hello.

Then Mummy was going to take me into the City again today to celebrate the Sydney Harbour Bridge's 75th Birthday as Daddy had to work but the weather is not so good and we got caught out in it yesterday so we are having a nice quiet Sunday in.

4 Months Young Today

Hi Fans,
Today I turned 4 months young - how time has flown. To keep you updated I thought I'd let you know what I can do now. I can smile, laugh, grasp for my toys and hold them, I can roll onto both sides, but have yet to roll onto my tummy, I did attempt this yesterday and got a mouth full of carpet and it made me cry.

My Friends

Hi,
Mummy & I belong to a Mothers Group and we meet every Thursday. It is so cool, Mummy gets to chat to other mums and talk about babies and other things too but I don't listen, I'm too busy playing with my pals. Going clockwise from me my pals are Abbey, Jackson, Cecily, Bea, Benjamin, Aiden & Dane. This isn't all of us either - Bonny, Luca, Hamish & Pia are usually there too.

Mummy, Daddy & I

Hi,
Here I am with my Mummy & Daddy enjoying a day out.

Grandad Johnson

Hi Fans,
My Mummy & I had the biggest surprise of our lives when Grandad Johnson turned up on Mum's doorstep - Mum was expecting a parcel that morning and had stayed in to accept the delivery - the parcel was Grandad coming for a surprise visit - how cool, mum was bowled over and couldn't speak for a few moments - it was funny.
We had a fab time with Grandad Steve he stayed for just under 2 weeks and as you can see Grandad had the magic touch - I'm fast asleep again. Amongst our days out we headed to Watson's Bay for fish and chips - here I am with Grandad - he's enjoying a beer.

Smiler

Hi,
I smile and I like smiling and here I am smiling. Mummy took this of me at 9 weeks old smiling.

Oh No Home Time

Hi All,
Oh no it's home time - Here's us at the airport, Grannie & Grandad are leaving to go back to the UK as you can see I am very upset, I won't see them now until June but that's not too far away and then I'll be bigger and be able to show them my new tricks - like sitting up, crawling and eating solids wow I'll be a big girl by then.

Scrabble

Hi,
I just had to post this photo of me helping Daddy play Scrabble, as you can see he is very pleased with my help so far!!!!!!!!!

Grannie & Grandad Chaplin

Hi Fans,
As you know I had the pleasure of my Grannie Viv and Grandad Paul come to visit me for 5 weeks and during this time we had so much fun. We visited the Lindt Cafe a couple of times, they do the best hot chocolates, we went to the Zoo and the new Wildlife Park in Darling Harbour, Manly, Bondi Beach, Maurouba Beach were visited and we did plenty of walking although Mummy & I didn't do nearly as much as Grannie and Grandad, but we all did enjoy the occasional cake wih a cup of tea/coffee whilst we were out and at the weekends Daddy got to come and play too. Here's me having fun with Grannie Viv & Grandad Paul.
